This is a ring I made for fun while in the process of learning die forming. The craftsmanship is not great but I made it, in entirety, in three hours. It's just a fun, focal point ring.

Scarab Pectoral

This piece is my favorite I've made so far. It's a period piece based off of Egyptian pectorals(large chest pieces). The scarab body is a hollow form, which was really not easy with the repoussed front. The legs are hammer textured and the wings are chemically etched and sawn out. The scarab itself is copper and the wings are brass. The scarab rests his feet on a silver disk and holds aloft a bezel set bloodstone in silver. The cording is a silk strip and is held to the piece by silver wire endings. One of the endings is an open hook and is the clasp for the necklace.

Swimming with Stingrays
This is a narrative double sided piece I made for class. It tells the story of the time I swam with stingrays while on a trip with my family. I used copper and brass for the exterior. The stingray side was hand repoussed and textured with a hammer. The other side shows the silhouette of a woman standing in the water with a silver stingray immersed in blue resin behind her. The chain connecting the two metal pieces is the clasp. I really love how this piece turned out, just like my drawing.

Morphing Rings
This is a series of rings I designed using Rhinoceros 4.0. They are made to slowly morph and in the final stage the ball in the center is suspended so that, if it were to be printed, the ball would be mobile inside the cage. The tendrils sticking out of the top of the last ring would also be slightly flexible.

Rapid Prototyping
Here's a couple of designs I made using Rhinoceros 4.0. These were just experiments but I got them printed and really love them.
This was my first printed piece. It's just a simple ring made to look like a birdbath. I got it printed in plain white and filled the bowl with light blue resin so it looks like water. Cute.
This is a pair of earrings I made for myself and have fallen in love with. They are based off the top of a lamp post (flipped upside down). I can make a pair for $20.

Polymer Clay Creations
Here are a few of the polymer clay critters I've made over the years. I teach sculpture classes for children. I've done individual classes, birthday parties, and summer camps. I also sculpt custom orders.
Custom order armadillo. The woman ordered two and then had me teach her daughter how to make them. One of my favorites. : )
Custom order Basset Hound.
Ballerina Bear Bottle. The head is a twist on cap to the bottle hidden within the body.
Pavlov and his experiment.
Just a little elf man. : )
